Jabatan Perhutanan Sabah perlu melaporkan kepada Polis dan SKMM kerana dakwaan pembalakan haram Lembangan Maliau menggunakan gambar palsu dan juga akaun Facebook palsu tertera penyokong Warisan. KOTA KINABALU : Jabatan Perhutanan Sabah menafikan dakwaan mengatakan pembalakan haram sedang berlaku di hutan rizab Lembangan Maliau, mengatakan gambar yang dimuatnaik di Internet memaparkan tanda-tanda peralatan yang tidak ditemui di Sabah. Ketua Konservator Datuk Sam Mannan berkata dakwaan Gerakan Anak Muda Selamatkan Sabah itu tidak benar, dan membidas kumpulan itu kerana memfitnah dan menyebarkan perkara tidak benar yang berniat jahat. “ Gambar yang tersebar di media sosial boleh diambil di mana sahaja di pulau Borneo . “ Perkara yang paling tidak konsisten dalam dakwaan-dakwaan itu ialah peralatan yang dipaparkan menunjukkan tanda-tanda pendaftaran yang tidak terdapat di Sabah ,” katanya.
